Mel says … “Days before the first Covid lockdown my pooch passed away at the grand age of 17. I live on my own and was working from home, supporting my elderly mum and ex mum-in-law with food deliveries etc. Being disabled, my illness meant I was constantly tired and I started to get low moods and lost the joy in life.
Last year I adopted Herbie from Healing Paws and I now have a reason to get up every day! He is a totally adorable goofball and makes me laugh in everything that he does. I am now back to a much better version of myself and love life again.
