Domino was bred to be a hunting dog, but as a five month old pup he was hit by a car and broke a bone in his shoulder. He was left at the vets to be put to sleep, but the vet didn’t want to do it so called me for help. The bone was broken in a clean way but needed a specialist vet on the mainland. Within two days, with the help of many of our supporters and their generosity, he was on the operating table on mainland Greece! Quite an adventure to get him there especially with Covid too and lockdown! He is a very lucky boy! Had the break have been left even two more days it would have meant amputation! He is 100% healed, a very happy and lively typical Spaniel!!!
Domino was born 1st July 2020, he is a pure breed Springer Spaniel. He has the gorgeous liver brown and white coat, wavy ears and oh-so-beautiful golden yellow-brown eyes. He is adorable and loved by everyone. As you can see he loves to be cuddled and to give kisses! A love bug!
Domino is great with the other dogs and pups, good with cats and loves children. He still gets a bit excitable but typical of his breed! He loves to run off lead but is doing well on a lead too! He comes when called and is house trained!! He has a soft and wonderful character, lap dog if he can be but also needs a lot of exercise or a big garden. As a typical Springer Spaniel, Domino has masses of energy and would benefit from scent training and/or agility training; he will also need plenty of mental stimulation.
Domino has finished his vaccinations, blood tested clear and been sterilized. He is ready to meet his new family.
