My Story

HEBE IS CURRENTLY ON THE SUSSEX COAST, she is an 18-month-old, spaniel type at around 12kg.

Hebe is a very bright affectionate dog. She thrives on 1 to 1 attention and loves to play with soft toys and to chase and retrieve balls. She can be very playful and invents her own games. She is very energetic and loves to chase or be chased. She loves to play with other dogs in an open space and has excellent recall.

Hebe is looking for her new home as she is too much for the older resident dog to cope with, she gets on great with the other young existing dog.

Like most rescue dogs she can be nervous around strangers. She is generally fine outdoors but gets stressed about strangers entering the house

The family have been working with a behaviourist around her instinct to bark, they have made great strides with this. She uses a raised bed as her safe, calm space, which she has needed in her multi dog household. She is scared by loud noises such as fireworks.

Her ideal home would be an adult only quiet household, as an only dog where she can have undivided attention from her owners. She would love a rural area or a good-sized outdoor space to run around. She could possibly live with a confident male dog, who will tell her off when required. She will need to be brushed daily. She is happy to be left for up to 4 hrs. Hebe has NOT been around children or CATS.

Hebe is neutered and up to date with all her vaccinations and treatments. She is currently on the SUSSEX coast.
