Maya was an owned dog, sadly her owner passed away and she found herself on the street.
She got pregnant and had her puppies. We were asked to pick up the pups, but of course we also picked up Maya!
Sadly she blood tested positive to Leishmaniosis so her foster mummy and daddy have been working very hard to get that under control. Luckily for Maya her treatment has worked and all of her symptoms have gone.
She is a beautiful, happy, healthy girl! She will need two tablets a day, but we will discuss this further with her new family.
Maya was born approx. 15th May 2016. She looks to be a Labrador and or Retriever mix. She has a beautiful thick creamy white coat and fantastic eyes. Medium in size. Lovely character, loves to be with her human!
Maya is good with the other dogs and puppies. She will chase cats, ok around children but would be best suited to an adult only home. This we say for all of our adult rescues, as we don’t know what has happened to them in their past, or what their triggers may be!
Maya is a sweet soul, she has not had such a great life. But she deserves one now!
Maya has finished her vaccinations, and been sterilized. She is so ready to find her new family.
