Hello! I’m Rainey ☔️
My story began when I was found on the side of a busy road with my brother Paddy and my sisters. We were only about 4 weeks old, cold, wet and very frightened, and it was raining when a kind lady spotted us and made sure we were safe. That’s how we came to live with Sue, who cared for us so lovingly.
At first, we all had ringworm on our little tails and our immune systems were quite low – but with lots of love, good food and care, we grew stronger very quickly. Since then, I’ve become a confident, happy pup with a wonderful sense of curiosity and a natural big-sister presence.
I’m the biggest of my siblings (and yes… I like to keep everyone in line!). I’m often the one leading the games and keeping my siblings in check, and making sure cuddle time runs smoothly.
We think I was born around 25/10/25, and I’m expected to grow to a medium size, possibly on the smaller side of medium – I’m proud to say I’m currently the biggest of my siblings though!
I’m a proud mix of mixes, and like my family, I may have some Beagle, Spaniel and Hellenic Hound in me. I have especially beautiful light brown markings, a striking little face, and warm, soulful eyes that are impossible to resist.
I get on brilliantly with other dogs and love being part of a group – whether that’s playtime, exploring together, or settling down into the bedtime cuddle pile. I’m also great with children. I haven’t met any cats just yet, but with a gentle and sensible introduction, I think I could happily learn to share my home with one.
I’m currently in a foster home enjoying life with my siblings Paddy, Daisy and Lyra, along with our puppy friends Michelle and Michael – learning all about family life and growing in confidence every day.
I’ll be getting my second vaccinations and microchip very soon, and then I’ll be ready to travel to my forever home. If you’re looking for a pup with a bit of leadership, a lot of love, and a very special personality… I might just be your girl!
