Introducing sweet girl Rusty
Rusty was a stray older puppy found on a busy road with her brother. Her brother is already in a lovely home in the UK. Both Rusty and her brother were very nervous but they very soon learnt that not all humans are bad!
Rusty is lovely with those of us she knows but can still be a little nervous around strangers, but only in as much as she keeps out of their way.
Rusty is lovely with other dogs, and we would recommend a home with no young children because they may unnerve her.
Rusty was born approximately 10/02/2023. She has finished her vaccinations, is neutered, and has tested clear of leishmania. So she is all set to travel to her furever home

Rusty is a sweet, clever little girl who has been through a tough past. Because of this, she can be nervous and needs time to trust and settle into new surroundings. Once she feels safe, she bonds deeply and becomes a loving little shadow, following you everywhere and snuggling up at night. She especially loves playing frisbee, so a secure garden where she can play would make her very happy. Rusty needs a calm, patient home where she can build her confidence at her own pace. She would do best with adults or older children, and while she can live with other dogs, she’d thrive as the main focus of someone’s love and attention. Busy households and lots of visitors can overwhelm her, so she’s looking for a quieter environment with consistency and routine. With patience, kindness, and time, Rusty will blossom into the most loyal companion. She just needs someone who won’t give up on her.
