Toffee was abandoned in a very poor condition. She was very skinny with sores to her skin and so scared, bless her. Luckily for her she was taken into foster and her foster parents have worked very hard to bring her back to full health. Toffee tested positive to Leishmaniosis when we picked her up, which explained her pitiful condition. Leish is a dreadful parasite and will kill the host if not treated. Luckily Toffee was in the first stages and was treated quickly. She seems to of made a full recovery and is a happy, healthy loving girl! She will need to take 2 tablets a day, but we will discuss this further with her new family.

Toffee
My Story
Toffee was born approx. 20th December 2018. She is a beautiful Vizla. She has a stunning red/brown velvet type coat. She will stay medium in size.
Toffee is good with the other dogs and puppies, good with cats. As she is an adult rescue we do not home to families with children as we don’t know what has happened in her past or what her triggers may be. She loves her humans the most. Is very loving and playful and clever. Typical of her breed! She likes to run too so she will need an active walking life, she is good on the lead.
