Yannis was one of four puppies abandoned in a mountain ravine and living in the rubbish dumped there.

They were very skinny and terrified so it took ages for Sue and family to catch them. All of the puppies were sick with Parvovirus.

Sadly, one passed away, but two others were adopted to the UK and are in fabulous homes. But poor Yannis never really recovered. Yannis got over the parvovirus but was weak, subdued, and absolutely hated people. Yannis then lost all of his hair and turned pink! We called him the salmon pup!

Yannis was put on a special diet for months, and he seemed to improve. He was then adopted to a home on the Island along with another one of our dogs. Two years later he was found back out on the streets, even more scared then he was before. Sue was devastated and set about catching him, finally Sue and family managed to catch him.

Sue is now the only person who can touch him, and he will have a home for life with Sue. He is happy with Sue and the other dogs, and he has the run of the garden and the balconies. Occasionally, if he thinks nobody is looking and the front door is open he will wander inside.
